Everything you need before you write

Most bookings are made a week ahead. Weekday evenings usually go two weeks out.

Saturday 10:00-17:00, Sunday closed. The last weekday session finishes by 21:00, it does not start then.

The Teak Room

$65per hour

Up to four voices around a 1960s teak desk, four microphones on sprung arms, 2 hour minimum. One remote guest can join on their own track.

The Booth

1 to 2 voices, 1 hour minimum. Half day $160.

Basic edit

Back in 3 business days

$95 an episode up to 60 finished minutes. Cleanup, levels per voice, loudness to target, your intro and outro attached.

One WAV per voice, 48 kHz, 24 bit. No charge.

On location

Montreal and Laval

$120 call-out plus $55 an hour on site, 2 hour minimum. The kit covers 2 to 4 voices and the engineer travels with it.

To hold a date

50% deposit

Refunded in full with 48 hours notice, kept inside 48 hours. Balance by card or bank transfer at the end of the session.

A note on the name

Despite the name, nothing here is guaranteed to go viral.

The rooms are quiet, the engineer is patient and the coffee is acceptable. We sell well recorded conversations, not growth packages or download promises.

Late July

Every year we close for the two weeks of the construction holiday at the end of July, like half of Quebec.

Also closed 24 December to 2 January.

    Half the booking holds the room. Refunded in full with 48 hours notice.

    Arrive ten minutes early

    Time to sit down, find your distance from the microphone and pour some water.

    Leave with your files

    One WAV per voice, handed over the same day. The balance is settled on the way out.
